Part of my job as photographer is scouting out the perfect location for my clients.  I grew up in Georgetown, and have lived in the Austin area from my college days at UT until now, so I would say I know the city better than most.  But I've found that no matter how much of Austin I know, there's more to be discovered!

So for this family session, I stumbled upon this patch of bluebonnets tucked away, off the beaten path, in Walnut Creek Park.  What a perfect location for a family with two little boys who love the outdoors! There was so much to explore at this park... we had fun in the flowers, and even made time to splash in the creek a bit!  You would never guess we were in the middle of the city!
