I'm so excited to share these photos of sweet, little Eleanor, my newest niece (and my only niece who's not a red-head)!!
I love the name, Eleanor... it's classic and beautiful... but most of all I love the meaning of the name. Eleanor means "light," and this little girl was named such because my sister and her husband have experienced a season of darkness, but are reminded that God has overcome the darkness with light.
John 8:12, Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
I am thankful that there is one who is the light of this seemingly dark world. I am thankful that no matter how hurt or broken or messed up all of us are, Jesus came to offer us hope and life. For anyone who is looking to know and experience this Light, or anyone who's just curious about Jesus, send me a message and let's meet for coffee... I'd love to hear where you're at, whatever it may look like, with no judgement whatsoever, and I'm happy to share my personal story of how Jesus rescued me from darkness and brought light into my life. If He can for me, He can for anyone!
As Eleanor grows into her name, I pray that she would be a light of kindness, gentleness and grace to the world around her.
