Meet little Brooklyn... such a SWEET and SNUGGLY little girl, that I'm almost tempted to try for a fourth baby, just so I might have a shot at having a baby girl of my own!

(well... you all know I'm maxed out with three boys, but baby girls are something special!)

Anyways, I was so excited when mom, Katie, asked me to do Brooklyn's newborn photos.  I got to work with Katie and Parker, doing a mini cake smash session for their son, Ben, last fall, and it's such a joy to get to work with the same clients again and again.  I enjoy getting to watch families grow over time, and I feel personally invested in each family I get to know.  On the surface photography may seem to be about just getting pretty pictures, but behind each photo there's a real person, a real personality, a real story.  And I LOVE getting to watch these stories unfold over time as families grow and change. 

So Brooklyn joins her busy and active big brother (who's now almost 2), her crafty mom (who always amazes me with her decorative works of art), and her videogame-obsessed dad (um, does it make me a nerd, too, if my favorite shot is the one with the videogame characters?).  Congratulations to this beautiful family of four.  I look forward to watching you all live and grow together as a family, over the years. :)
